Running With Scissors is back! This time, the zany troupe of theatre misfits brings its unique brand of theatre to Le Chat Noir with Kiki le Bonbon’s Cabaret Oh-La-La! Expanding on the success of their March 2001 production of Kiki le Bonbon’s Cabaret de Mystère, Running With Scissors has brought back Kiki and her fantastic entourage to wow New Orleans’ audiences with an even bigger, brassier evening of entertainment!

Imagine yourself in the Paris of 1920, resting comfortably in the luxurious salon of Kiki le Bonbon, the most civilized debauchée of the Left Bank. From torchsingers to ventriloquists to glamorous dancing girls, Kiki’s put together a very special Cabaret Oh-La-La! that offers a little something for everyone. And get this: Kiki’s line-up changes every week. It’s never the same show twice! Sit back, relax, and enjoy an intimate evening of delightful performances by some of the city’s brightest young talents, including Susie K, Jim Jeske, Marcie Hesseling, Laura Freeman, Alana Kumbier, Flynn DeMarco, Jason Toups, Veronica Oliver, Allyson Garro, and Dorian Rush as “Kiki le Bonbon.”

Tickets: $10 – $15, sliding scale

Join us as we zip back in time to crash the swankest party of 1920–the Cabaret de Mystère, held at the home of Paris’ jazziest socialite Kiki le Bonbon. Kiki has worked long and hard on the Cabaret de Mystère–a fundraiser for Luxembourg’s many WWI orphans–and she’s lined up a dazzling array of performers to entertain her many, many friends (that’s you!). From torch singers to fire eaters, Kiki’s thought of everything to dazzle even the world-weariest of souls.

Seasoned Running With Scissors company members and some very talented newcomers team up for this hilarious, high-stakes night of cabaret performance to benefit the company’s April 2001 production of Camille. Featuring Kim Collins, David Didd, Kaleb Duhon, Marcie Hesseling, Jim Jeske, Susie K., Flynn De Marco, Veronica Oliver, Jason Toups, and Dorian Rush as “Kiki le Bonbon”!
